A fundraising exhibition, to support Direct Relief.

Community Opening
Thursday, May 3 at 5:30 pm

The exhibition celebrates our collective resilience following the tragic wildfires and mudslides that devastated our community.

Art for 805 will showcase miniature paintings, photographs, prints, and mixed media works, all on display for raffle. Visitors to the Museum will have the opportunity view original pieces on exhibit and may win their favorite pieces by purchasing raffle tickets. The Museum is grateful to the artists showcasing their talent and contributing to this important cause.

Exhibition On View To The Public
Thursday, May 3 – August 5, 2018

Beneficiaries

Direct Relief will use funding to support its emergency response efforts in Santa Barbara County as the community continues to recover from the Thomas Fires and mudslides, including equipping first responders, supporting public health efforts, and providing financial assistance to victims.

Santa Barbara Historical Museum will use funding to host a series of programs to educate the community about salvaging art and heirlooms following disaster, along with advice on planning for emergency planning in the future.

Upon completion, raffle winners will be posted on the Museum’s website at sbhistorical.org. Winners will also be contacted via phone or email, by SBHM staff the week of August 5, 2018. Artwork unclaimed by August 31 by the winner becomes the property of SBHM.
